Wow, we had a wonderful time yesterday. We had a group of 21 students, 11 adults and 3 babies visit
the farm for a Field Day from their Home School Group. First, James introduced the alpacas: Cocoa and Domino, the boys. Then they met the girls: Cleo, Nora, Honey Bee and baby Sable. There were pictures taken and plenty of smiles and questions. Next, I (Nana) presented the hoof to hat program. Relating how the alpaca's fiber is turned into a wearable or usable item. Then they felted fiber as a take with them project. After the programs were over, James took the kids on a hay ride while the adults got lunch on the table. Then we all sat down and enjoyed a meal together. What a fun time, we hope everyone had as much fun as we did.

Great story! I've been at an alpaca farm a few times as well. It was amazing and I would encourage everyone to visit one. To find the nearest one, I used the alpaca farm overview at alpacafarms.org. Maybe it can help you out :)
