Wow, we have started out this month in the fast lane. James and I celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary at Bob's Steak & Chop House in Fort Worth. I can highly recommend the steaks, if you want to blow your monthly food budget. Well, we did blow the budget. But, it was worth every bite.
Next we had the Lewisville Winter Market, which was Saturday and Sunday. The best part was connecting with my friend and Real Estate Staging Partner, Cheryl Jordan. Cheryl is a Realtor in Denton County, if you need to buy or sell give her a call.
After that we participated in the Christmas in Cleburne Market. We met a lot of people and we able to share our love of alpacas with them all. Also, we did make a few sales of our favorite products.
Our youngest great granddaughter celebrated her 5th birthday, and her Mom will celebrate her 25th birthday this month.
In addition to the alpaca business and birthdays we've been involved with church functions. We are participating in our Thanksgiving meal at the church by bringing dressing for the turkey on the 22nd. The Thanksgiving meal is my second favorite activity of the year (our Candlelight Service is first).
We are beginning to plan our families meal, we have the ham!! Now, I'm trying to decide small turkey or chicken? Next, we need to decide on sides. We will definitely have sweet potatoes (I planted one little rotting potato and I harvested almost 14 pounds!!!), candied, casserole, pie....
Hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving enjoying food, friends and family.
