Our Store will be in Lewisville on November 7th and 8th. There is a Holiday Market in the Lakeland Shopping Center and we will have a booth. How convenient is that for you to purchase your Christmas Gifts early or get something just because?
Looking forward to seeing people I have lost contact with. Stop by our booth and say hello.
Today Brother Adam's message was from Philippians;
Rejoice in the Lord, again I say Rejoice. Isn't that what we should do all day long. Let's let our lights shine to show others how full of joy we are, and don't keep it to yourself; share it with someone ...today.
Please remember, I really welcome comments. A little hello will do.
Vacations are what working people look forward to, a time of relaxation and ease. What do retirees call it? I call it a trip or touring, these are action words that certainly describe what we do when we take a trip.
Our trip started in sunny San Diego, we saw so many beautiful flowers and trees and the climate, aaah just right. Next, we saw the Mission Capistrano where the swallows return each Spring, Then, on to Hollywood. Where we saw and did so many things it boggles our minds. Then on up the Big Sur highway to San Francisco. The coast was beautiful the water was aquamarine, looked so clear and clean. Short and sweet that is how I like them.
However, back home Ollie had stomach issues that required a trip to the vet. Thanks to my granddaughter, Melania she took care of him and our trip was uninterrupted. Melaina was very resourceful; never having pulled the alpaca trailer, asked a friend to help hook up the trailer, another friend (quasi) to ride with her to Granbury. She handled the issues and took care of Ollie so good, I'm so proud of her. Ollie was treated and back to normal by the time we were home. James and I thank God for a wonderful granddaughter who is willing to step out of the box for us!!!
We are back in the groove, notice I didn't say rut, and life is good. God is good all the time; all the time God is good. One of the last things I want to say about our trip is that God blessed us throughout our trip. We did not have any encounters with rude people, everyone was very nice. In our driving we only had one problem, a semi wanted our place, God took care of us there too. Our accommodations were fantastic, all booked on line. If you book online you know you never know where it will actually be located or how it will look. Our hotel in SF upgraded us to a SUITE and had the most amazing breakfast offering. The morning of our Alcatraz tour the serving lady put the food out early just for us, all we asked for was a roll. She put everything out as quickly as she could so that we could eat before we left. (Larkspur Landing) At the Alcatraz tour, the person taking tickets and keeping everyone in line, moved us to a VIP area with seats and we were first on board the ship. We felt God's presence throughout the trip, everything worked out so good.
God promises to be with us. If we never step out in faith, how do we know He is with us and will provide for us? At one of the first Women of Faith conferences I attended I heard this saying, "if God brings you to something, He will see you through it". Today consider how to exercise your faith in His provisions for you.
Please leave a comment so I know you were here.
